Refund & Cancellation Policy

Jess Blaze BBQ — Effective April 2026

All Sales Are Final

Due to the perishable nature of our food and our made-to-order production process, all orders placed with Jess Blaze BBQ are considered final. We do not offer refunds once an order has been prepared, fulfilled, or picked up.

Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time.
  • Approved cancellations within this window will be issued as store credit or refund to original payment method (at our discretion).
  • No cancellations are allowed within 24 hours of your scheduled order time.

No Refunds Will Be Given For

  • Change of mind after order is placed
  • Missed pickup times
  • Incorrect address provided by customer
  • Failure to follow reheating or storage instructions
  • Dislike of taste or personal preference
  • Orders not picked up during scheduled time window

Order Issues (We Will Make It Right)

If there is an issue caused by us — such as missing items, incorrect items, or verified quality concerns — you must contact us within 2 hours of receiving your order.

We may offer:

  • Replacement of item
  • Store credit
  • Partial refund (case-by-case basis)

Photo proof may be required.

Meal Prep & Bulk Orders

  • All meal prep, catering, and bulk orders are non-refundable once production has begun.
  • Cancellation window strictly follows the 24-hour rule.

Delivery Orders (3rd Party)

For orders placed through delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.), refunds must be requested directly through the delivery platform.

Jess Blaze BBQ is not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays
  • Driver issues
  • Missing items caused during delivery transit

Weather & Operations Policy

Jess Blaze BBQ cooks exclusively over live fire. In the event of high winds, extreme heat, fire weather warnings, or other unsafe conditions, we may pause or cancel operations at any time to protect the safety of our team and community.

  • If we cancel a drop or pause ordering due to weather, all affected orders will receive a full refund to the original payment method.
  • We will notify customers via text, email, or social media as soon as a weather hold is activated.
  • Jess Blaze BBQ is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by weather or unsafe fire conditions.

Food Safety Notice

Once food has left our kitchen, we cannot guarantee handling conditions. For this reason, refunds will not be issued for food safety concerns outside of our control.

Right to Refuse Service

Jess Blaze BBQ reserves the right to refuse refunds or service to anyone suspected of abuse of this policy.
